My husband and I are both employed by Walmart.  A year ago we bought a little 'fixer upper'.  Really cute house, but we ran out of money.  In January my husband got sick, we have been off work since then, going back and forth to the doctor two and three times a week.  Our little home still just sits there, not finished, and we are stuck in a rental where it costs us $800 a month just for rent and gas.  We still have to pay electric, phone, food, fuel to get to the doctor, etc.  The short term disability is just over $125 a week, and that is just for him being sick.  I can't collect anything because I am home taking care of him and everything else.  What do we do?  If we could just get our little home finished, we would not pay rent or a mortgage or a gas bill because it is all electric.  I don't know what to do.
